I am Detective
Constable 4078 FERGUSON of the Leicestershire Constabulary
currently stationed on the Major Crime Unit and engaged on
enquiries on Operation Task. At 10.00 hours on Tuesday,
8th April 2008 I was present at an interview suite at
Leicestershire Police Force Headquarters when I commenced a
recorded interview with the witness Jane Michelle Tanner. The
interview ceased at 10:18 hours. This interview was
recorded onto DVD and a master copy and a working copy were
produced. I produce the master copy of this DVD as exhibit
reference S.V.F.101 and the working copy as exhibit reference
S.V.F.102. I have had the opportunity to read and check
through a transcript made of this interview and I produce the
transcript of the interview as exhibit reference S.V.F.102 A
At 10.28 hours on Tuesday, 8th April 2008 I was present at an
interview suite at Leicestershire Police Force Headquarters when
I commenced a second recorded interview with the witness Jane
Michelle Tanner. The interview ceased at 11:29 hours. This
interview was recorded onto DVD and a master copy and a working
copy were produced. I produce the master copy of this DVD
as exhibit reference S.V.F.103 and the working copy as exhibit
reference S.V.F.104. I have had the opportunity to read
and check through a transcript made of this interview and I
produce the transcript of the interview as exhibit reference
S.V.F.104 A At 11:55 hours on Tuesday, 8th April 2008 I
was present at an interview suite at Leicestershire Police Force
Headquarters when I commenced a third recorded interview with
the witness Jane Michelle Tanner. The interview ceased at 12:40
hours. This interview was recorded onto DVD and a master
copy and a working copy were produced. |

At 13:49 hours on Tuesday, 8th April 2008 I was present at an
interview suite at Leicestershire Police Force Headquarters when
I commenced a fourth recorded interview with the witness Jane
Michelle Tanner. The interview ceased at 15:09 hours. This
interview was recorded onto DVD and a master copy and a working
copy were produced. I produce the master copy of this DVD
as exhibit reference S.V.F.107 and the working copy as exhibit
reference S.V.F.108. I have had the opportunity to read
and check through a transcript made of this interview and I
produce the transcript of the interview as exhibit reference
S.V.F.108 A. At 16:29 hours on Tuesday, 8th April 2008 I
was present at an interview suite at Leicestershire Police Force
Headquarters when I commenced a fifth recorded interview with
the witness Jane Michelle Tanner. The interview ceased at 17:25
hours. This interview was recorded onto DVD and a master
copy and a working copy were produced. I produce the
master copy of this DVD as exhibit reference S.V.F.109 and the
working copy as exhibit reference S.V.F.110. I have had
the opportunity to read and check through a transcript made of
this interview and I produce the transcript of the interview as
exhibit reference S.V.F.110A At 17:42 hours on Tuesday,
8th April 2008 I was present at an interview suite at
Leicestershire Police Force Headquarters when I commenced a
sixth recorded interview with the witness Jane Michelle Tanner.
The interview ceased at 17:53 hours. This interview was
recorded onto DVD and a master copy and a working copy were
produced. I produce the master copy of this DVD as exhibit
reference S.V.F.111 and the working copy as exhibit reference
S.V.F.112. I have had the opportunity to read and check
through a transcript made of this interview and I produce the
transcript of the interview as exhibit reference S.V.F.112 A
At 19:30 hours on Tuesday, 8th April 2008 I was present at an
interview suite at Leicestershire Police Force Headquarters when
I commenced a seventh and final recorded interview with the
witness Jane Michelle Tanner. The interview ceased at 19:38
hours. This interview was recorded onto DVD and a master
copy and a working copy were produced. I produce the
master copy of this DVD as exhibit reference S.V.F.113 and the
working copy as exhibit reference S.V.F.114. I have had
the opportunity to read and check through a transcript made of
this interview and I produce the transcript of the interview as
exhibit reference S.V.F.114 A During this interview
process the witness Jane Tanner produced a plan which is marked
as exhibit reference J.T.1. I took possession of this exhibit
and at 15:10 hours on Monday 14th April 2008 I handed it to
exhibits officer 7383 Craven. After the interviews were
completed on Tuesday 8th April 2008 I handed exhibits
S.V.F.101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108,109,110,111,112, and 113
to DC 1578 Andrew Gierc. |

At 15:30 hours on Monday 14th April 2008 I took
exhibits S.V.F.101, 103, 105, 107, 109, 111 and 113 out of the
secure store and handed them to exhibits officer 7383 Craven.
This statement is made by myself and is true to the best of my
knowledge and belief.
