Moldovian
nationality,
she
speaks
Portuguese
perfectly
and
does
not
need
an
interpreter.
She
has
been
employed
as a
kitchen
helper
in
the
Millenium
restaurant
since
27th
March
This
establishment
is
used
by
clients
staying
at
the
OC,
mainly
for
breakfast
and
dinner.
She
works
what
is
known
as
the
breakfast
shift,
from
07.00
until
15.30.
When
questioned
she
says
that
she
does
not
remember
the
family
of
Madeleine
McCann
although
they
were
regular
users
of
the
restaurant
where
she
worked,
because
her
functions
did
not
imply
direct
contact
with
the
guests.
She
never
noticed
the
presence
of
anyone
with
strange
behaviour
towards
children
or
see
anything
suspicious.
With
respect
to
the
date
of
the
disappearance
-
3rd
May
-
this
was
her
day
off
(she
has
Wednesdays
and
Thursdays
off)
and
she
only
returned
to
work
on
the
following
day
-
4th
May.
She
only
found
out
about
what
had
happened
when
she
arrived
at
work
and
was
informed
by
colleagues.
Because
of
this
she
did
not
know
much
about
the
events,
only
from
what
she
heard
from
third
parties.
She
did
not
hear
or
see
anything
relevant
to
the
investigation.
